International Recovery Platform

This case study accounts for local practice influencing recovery through interviews with stakeholders involved in post-disaster management in the region.

The objective of the assessment is to develop a 2 model-based estimate of the direct physical damages to buildings and infrastructure and evaluate the spatial distribution of damages to support the development of a roadmap for recovery and reconstruction.

This publication analyzes the role of nonprofit organizations in disaster recovery efforts in the U.S. in scenarios lacking federal disaster declarations.
