Content submission policy

International Recovery Platform Web Content Submission, Procedures and Disclaimer
Publication of content is a free service to the disaster risk reduction and recovery community.

Content is selected for publication in accordance with the International Recovery Platform (hereinafter IRP) Web mandate, which is to serve the information needs of the disaster risk reduction and recovery community, including the development of information exchange tools to facilitate collaboration. Content is accepted and published according to the following priority system:

  1. Content directly pertaining to work in the area of disaster risk reduction and recovery submitted by IRP partners and other organizations related to disaster recovery including organizations comprised of non-governmental, international and UN organizations; governments, academic and research institutions; and private sector companies working for better recovery.
  2. Content pertaining to promotion of disaster risk reduction in recovery, and development of enhanced recovery capacity and operations from disasters. IRP Web reserves the right to refuse publication of information that does not meet the criteria mentioned above, or is deemed to discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.

Content accepted for publication will generally be posted on the IRP Web site within a couple of weeks of submission.

The opinions expressed in the sites linked from the IRP Web site are those of the authors and are not necessarily shared by IRP or IRP Web editors. Inclusion of links to sites outside of IRP Web site does not imply endorsement of the contents of those sites.
