Editorial Objective
International Recovery Platform Web aims to foster an exchange of information among those working in or interested in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction and Recovery. To achieve this aim, we rely on information partnerships with the DRR and Recovery community.

Editorial Policy

Content Collection
Partners are invited to submit content on the subject of Disaster Recovery.

IRP Web is a public website publishing abstracts, or full text with permission, linking to source web site(s) and/or full text, and downloadable documents with permission.

Content Types
IRP Web accepts the following content types for review:

We do not accept any material containing: advertising, mission statements, or items that do not provide substantive researched information or project-based studies of practice.

Content Review
IRP Web editors review each submission individually in order to consider it for inclusion. Each item is reviewed by a minimum of two editors. If an item submitted to that does not comply with our selection criteria, we will contact the person submitting to request more information or suggest revisions if appropriate.

Content published on IRP Web is judged to be reliable, valid, timely and objective. We do not publish content that promotes political, personal or religious agendas, or that is libelous or slanderous.

The opinions expressed in content published on IRP Web or on sites linked to/from IRP Web, inclusive of editorial articles, are those of the authors and are not necessarily shared by the IRP secretariat or IRP Web editors.

IRP Web is guided by the needs of our audience and the DRR and Recovery community.

  2. Second, among news and information service providers covering hazards and themes that are deemed relevant by the DRR community
