Progress of the implementation of the Hyogo Framework for Action and Recovery from Tsunami and Earthquake


Indian Ocean Tsunami affected countries and Pakistan, which were hit by a devastating earthquake in October 2005 are on the way of recovery aiming for Build Back Better than before. On the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, The government of Japan organized an International Forum on Tsunami and Earthquake with the theme ‘Recovery from the Indian Ocean Tsunami along the Hyogo Framework for Action’.
