This PDNA report provides an assessment of the severe impacts of the earthquakes which struck Herat, Afghanistan in October 2023, and provides a vision and guiding principles for recovery.

Six and a half years after the Great East Japan Earthquake, recovery and reconstruction have been steadily progressing in terms of infrastructure and town development. However, there are still many problems to be tackled in some areas.

This RDNA3 takes stock of almost two years of the ongoing war, estimating damage and losses along with recovery and reconstruction needs for 10 years.
